OUR COLLECTIONS
The Leo Michelson Collection
The Leo Michelson Collection features an extensive range of the artist's work, including oil paintings, watercolors, charcoal drawings, crayon sketches, and woodcut illustrations. With over 1,000 pieces in the collection, the museum proudly celebrates the diversity and richness of Michelson's artistic legacy.
The Ramona and Jay Ward Collection
This collection of African masks and antique Chinese opera puppets was generously donated by Ramona Ward, wife of Jay Ward, the visionary creator behind beloved cartoons such as Rocky and Bullwinkle, George of the Jungle, and Dudley Do-Right. Both Ramona and Jay have since passed, but this unique collection remains a testament to their enduring legacy.
The Kronenberg Collection
The Kronenberg Collection features remarkable works by renowned artists such as Georges Rouault and Henri Matisse, generously donated by Dr. Bernard Kronenberg of New Rochelle, New York. Beginning in 1999, his widow, Gloria Kronenberg, continued the tradition by making annual donations of additional pieces to the museum. In 2020, her estate made a significant contribution by donating 47 more paintings, further enriching the museum's collection.
